About X-innovation
Jamie is a BC Boy through and through, he loves to be in the mountains or on the beach with his partner and their four children. They enjoy skiing, dirt biking, adventure riding, camping, off-roading and finding secret swimming holes.
Jamie was born and raised in Powell River. He spent his summers exploring the forests and playing on the water; surrounded by some of the best scenery this area has to offer. It was the logical move for him to start his construction career as a teen installing windows, decks and railings so he could continue enjoying the view at work as well as play.
After 17 years he grew restless. His creative and problem-solving mind was no longer being challenged. Transitioning into restoration and remediation was a logical next move to challenge his mental and physical aptitudes. During his 8 years in restoration, he fine tuned his attention to detail, his creative solution skills, his management techniques, and his hands on capabilities.
At this point, he was ready to step out for himself and X-Innovation Contracting was born. Since it’s conception in 2017 he has built a successful business with a great reputation for providing a consistent product with beautiful details, and meticulous installation. He can find a solution to any hiccup and thrives when completing challenging and unique projects; be it adding modern details to a heritage home or learning the newest techniques and products to keep up with the latest trends.
